yeah, the first male "tour" guide guided me and my parents to the concourse and "abandoned" us there. LOL. Yeah, I went to the booth, talking about the overseas trips IP students would go. I can't listen very clearly because of the Guitar Ensemble students performing on the mini stage. Wth lo. My parents and i tried my best to listen. haha. I SAW ERNEST. He like suddenly walk out from the back of a board and we saw each other. LOL.
Next, We proceeded to the Dance theatre for the principal's address. My father is so mean. He said that the principal looks like an uncle in a coffeeshop. HAHA. I agree too :X The principal showcased the reasons why students should choose VIP and the programmes they offer. I like the Helmsman programme. hahaha. They allow students to travel overseas but is project-based de. If I am not wrong, there are 5 "kinds" of weeks - Financial Literacy Week, Careers Week, Agape Week, Service Learning Week and Innovation and Enterprise Week. haha.
Pupils will complete 4 electives at the rate of 1 elective per semester but I have no idea which year then can choose :X. Anyway, Nanotechnolgy, Biochemical anlysis and Intoduction to Marine Biology sound cool to me.*although I have little knowledge about them xD* Then i saw Mr Boy Eng Seng - The guy's name whom Kai Yuan & I always make fun of. SORRY xP
After which, We left the dance theatre and two rolls of VJ students stood at the side of the pathway. I feel like as if I'm a VIP guest. LOL. One of the students led us to the concourse again and to the East Zone Science & Technology Centre. The presentation was Very Cool. The guy poured a cup of plain water into another cup of chemical - it became a Grape drink. Subsequently, he poured the grape drink in to another cup and became something else which I had forgotten D: But i remembered he pouring the 2nd mixture into the third cup which became 7 UP drink. Lastly, he poured the 7UP drink into the last cup and it became MILK. HAHA. Science is SO WONDERFUL.HAHA. That VS student, who viewed the presentation together with my family, is so smart to answer one of the questions the VJ student asked O.O I thought the answer was Helium -.- Nvm.
HAHA. We left the centre and walked to the concourse again. Trying to the find the student who had led us to the Science & Technology Centre. But she was gone -_- So unfaithful lo. xD
Then, another IP2 student approached us and asked if we enjoyed the presentations they showcased. We crapped for quite some time before my father and mother asked her," Why did you leave Dunman High for Victoria JC?" Then she answered," Err..because Dunman High focuses on chinese mah.." Then my father asked again," How about Hwa Chong JC since you are from such a good school?" Then she replied," Hwa Chong mah...Chinese school" LOL. Her answers were so consistent. CHINESE SCHOOL mah.. Basically, students who applied for VIP have to go through 3 tests - GAT, EAT and MAT tests. They are tested base on the syllabus we had learnt in secondary school. Yeah. English one is tested on writing of essay bah. FYI, the number og people who applied for VIP reached to a number of 1000++ . OMG lah. My chance of getting in is like the school choose one student out of 14 or more stduents.... or even worse. T_T.
But i still hope to get into the 100 seats they offer :DDDD
Anyway, that student's family is so cool, they made a point to speak English for a month and chinese for a month. B'cos they are a English speaking family.Unlike mine - MIXED xD Next, she lead us to the THE LEARNING HUB* block and to the Helmmans Programme Hub. the students showcased their experience in the Oversea trips to Spain, Australia ,etc. Wah, they even went to a HONDA Engines-making Factory in Japan, Tokyo. The school specially engaged the company to allow VIP students to have a lesson there if I'm not wrong. O.o
Back to concourse again, and we left VJC because of my father's FALSE appointment. -.- Yeah, I received the VIP plastic bag which contained the catalogue about VIP and the map of the school. It's orange and red in colour. I want to get that slice of cake! LOLOL.
i went to a shop along East Coast Park for lunch.Yeah. Picked some shells before returning home. I know that's kind of lame. LOL. Never mind,
I got to go now. BYE!
